inseamna exact ce zice. probabil hostul tau are setat un director default in care te baga automat la orice cerere de browser si nu da voie sa fie accesate fisiere de acolo in mod direct altele decat index.html/php/shtml

trebuie sa muti forumul intr-un director de pe site care sa permita accesul direct la fisiere.

Am rezolvat respectiva problema, dar tot pot converti. Acum imi apare mesajul "Unable to find the settings for phpBB2. Please double check the path and try again."


La Path to SMF am scris: /home/pronosti/public_html/forum (asa s-a setat automat)

Baza de date de phpbb - doar datele, nu si structura, (de pe myforum) am pus-o in directorul unde am forumul si anume "forum".

La Path to phpBB2 am scris /home/pronosti/public_html/forum. Apoi
/home/pronosti/public_html/forum/phpbb_db_backup.sql

In amebele cazuri am primit mesajul de sus. Unde gresesc?

converterul trebuie sa acceseze direct baza de date nu un backup al acesteia.

ca regula generala:
ambele baze de date trebuie sa fie pe acelasi server, cu acelasi utilizator mysql
ambele forumuri trebuie sa fie in pe acelasi server in directoare diferite /phpbb si /smf de ex
converterul are nevoie de access direct la settings.php din smf si la config.php sau cum se cheama fisierul de configurare din phpbb

Multumesc de raspuns.
Am mai inaintat putin. Am facut un forum phpbb pe server la mine si am pus toata baza de date de pe myforum (m-a ajutat un prieten. A intrat in mysql admin si a umblat acolo, a facut tabele, el stie...dupa ce s-a chinuit putin, a reusit). Asadar acum am forumul la adresa mea, adica aici http://www.pronosticsportiv.ro/forum1/.
Dupa aceea am instalat pe server forumul smf si il am la adresa http://www.pronosticsportiv.ro/forum
Am pus cele doua fisiere de convertire in http://www.pronosticsportiv.ro/forum (unde este smf-ul) si am dat convert.php.

La path to SMF am scris" /home/pronosti/public_html/forum
iar la
Path to phpbb2 am scris: /home/pronosti/public_html/forum1
Cind am bagat parola nu a mai recunoscut-o (ieri a mers sa folosesc parola pe care am setat-o eu de la instalare). Mi-a aparut mesaj sa ma uit in settings.php si a mers cu cea de acolo. Dupa ce am bagat parola si am dat continue a aparut

In acest caz, unde este greseala? A schimbat ceva prietenul meu prin baza de date de la phpbb si de aceea nu merge?

userul pronosti_smf1 nu are drepturi date pe baza de date phpbb ci probabil doar pe cea smf.
